Dinner Dates Suck!

Besides a lot of questions on relationships, I am also getting quite a few questions on dates.
"A dinner date" is the most common type of date in the world today - and that's both its positive and negative side. You know that it can get really awkward, and that the restaurant environment by itself is rather boring. It's just you and her.

Dinner dates suck as a first date because,
1 It's the first part of the traditional courtship ritual.
2 You're buying her attention - You're buying her stuff to eat, just to get her to listen to what you have to say. It is just me, or aren't that kind of weird?
3 It's boring.
4 It's not a natural way to get to know someone. Do you usually eat dinner with somebody you don't know?
5 They're hard to escape. - You're tied to a chair for a few hours. And what to do other than run when she catches you looking at her cleveage? It's hard to focus on the food when you sit down for that long.
6 Awkward silence. - You're nervous and feel a pressure to say something if she doesn't. The nervousness also translates into your other movements...This makes it very possible to do stupid stuff like dropping your fork while you're eating.
7 Dinner dates are predictable. - This makes it very hard for you to stick out of the crowd, you're probably just one boring date out of hundreds.

What to do instead:
Have her come pick you up at your place. Invite her in for few minutes, and then go out to one of the local coffee shops. Talk and just have a good time.

L'amour en douce

“I have so much love for you, I could fill rooms with it. Buildings. You’re surrounded by it wherever you go, you walk through it, breathe it…it’s in your lungs, and under your tongue, and between your fingers and toes…” His mouth moved passionately over hers, urging her lips apart. It was a kiss to level mountains and shake stars from the sky. It was a kiss to make angels faint and demons weep…a passionate, demanding, soul-searing kiss that nearly knocked the earth off its axis. Or at least that was how Poppy felt about it.”

It's Truer than True.

I don't know where to start from.
I wish I could forget what happened to me today,
I wish I was out of my mind, but in my brain,
I can even think of every single detail.
I wish you could read everything on my mind just for a second,
so you will see how I'm truly feeling.

All the things you've said to me since we've met,
melted my whole coldness and anxiety.
I hope at least what you've said wasn't a lie.
I hate that I still love you even after I knew something was gone the worst.

I won't blame on anyone for this situation.
I won't even try to figure out what's happening here,
but the hardest part of my situation is that I have to give you up,
if you were already gone back to your girl.
I hope your decision wasn't wrong.

If you meant to play a game with me,
If it wasn't our fate,
If all you could do was leaving me away,
then can you say that you still believe in soulmates and true lovers?

You know what, you completely don't know what love is,
because you don't see me holding love and you just passed by.

You can't walk back in!

I loved you first,I left you first, and then now I miss you the most.
Love seemed to be disappeared forever, but when I see your pictures, my heart still beats faster.
I still remember your smile, even though I forgot your face.
I miss your touch, even though I forgot how tall you were.
But the thing is,
every single thing we shared together
left in the past as good memories,
somewhere we can't even go back to find out.
I don't love you anymore,
but I'd find someone like you,
and I'd fall in love again.
This is how love works.

How Love Works

It is wrong to think that love lasts forever. Nothing lasts forever. According to an psychological research, they found a higher divorce rate from those who got married due to they loved each other. Even true love doesn't go along with marriage. Then, what makes people fall in love?

Psychologist Mark Kristal from the University of Buffalo explains the chemistry in romantic relationships. “There are several types of chemistry required in romantic relationships,” he says. “It seems like a variety of different neurochemical processes and external stimuli have to click in the right complex and right sequence for someone to fall in love.” The chemistry in romance requires certain elements of love.

1.Smell.
We fall in love partly because of smell. The scent of a bouquet of red roses, for instance, is a cultural preference that boosts the chemistry in romantic relationships. Dr Kristal says, “Smell forms part of the framework that conforms to cultural attractiveness standards. For example, smelling like a strawberry instead of mildew makes you attractive.” Smelling delicious could be part of why we fall in love.

2.Love pheromones.
Invisible signals are part of what makes people fall in love. “Pheromones are unlearned, and perhaps unsmellable, signals that enter the brain through the olfactory system. They can function in sex, alarm, territoriality, aggression, and fear,” says Dr Kristal. He believes that we choose specific mates not solely due to pheromones, but for other reasons. Other sensory cues are better explanations for why we fall in love, such as touch, smell, and hearing.

3.The brain.
We fall in love partly because of hormones. Oxytocin and vasopressin are present when people fall in love and stay together for a long time. Dopamine is also part of the chemistry in romantic relationships. So, when you’re wondering “Why doesn’t he love me?” you may have to look to brain chemistry as the answer. It’s not necessarily you, it’s just that your brain chemicals didn’t mesh. Lack of hormones could explain why people fall in love.

Can you make someone love you? Well, since the chemistry in romantic relationships is affected by smell, you could try approaching someone you like with a dozen roses or a mug of hot chocolate. And since the hormone oxytocin can be created by positive experiences, it might be smart to ensure all your interactions are pleasant ones. Recently, fragrances developed for women contain pheromones in them. They might work well if you are willing to make someone fall in love with you.

心灵

What I want to know but I have to know was if your words could kill me inside. I pretended not to listen to your words and wanted to look innocent next to you. When you look at me with a smile, my heart suddenly stops. You always say I'm beautiful and sweet. You think I am sexy when I work on my paper. I get blushed and don't know what to say. You rescued me from my darkened life in the past. You said I could possibly use you for a while and I did. Then, I was captivated by your gentle mind.

Columbia Univ., Purdue Univ., Duke Univ., Univ of Illinois, UW, UPenn., ANU, Univ. of London, I completely submitted all the apps for these university. But, I still wonder if I am really ready to start my junior year of my college. Otherwise, would I need a break for a year? Perhaps, working as a model @ a clothing company changed me a lot. Because of that, I changed my major and primary goals, and actually, my parents kinda gave me up at this point, but I don't care because it's my life. I would have a job and be happy with it.

I am who I am. I 100% came back to who I used to be...kinda fricking? or sassy? Dah! I feel like this year would be the best time in my life. Everything works very well and I expect to become more like my self, trying to be stronger, yes! C:
